Mark’s professional experience encompasses nearly 20 years of increased responsibility for improvement and change. His work has involved analysis, planning, process, and execution in management and consulting roles including:

  • Officer and Senior Manager in manufacturing environment charged with leading business services and a major transformation project including operational restructuring; change in market focus; and complete process, policy, and technology transformation.
  • Consulting Leader serving privately held companies in the areas of strategy, process improvement, and the strategic use of information technology.
  • Management consultant within Big Five accounting firm’s process improvement practice which helped launch, improve, and significantly restructure large national firms.
  • Information Technology leader in a Fortune 25 firm providing consulting and support for implementation of desktop and network computing.
  • Leader of several large-scale process redesign and system implementation projects.

Mark is passionate about helping others improve how they work. His talent lies in bringing together broad concepts, abundant details, practical solutions, and managing disciplined execution. He works with all levels within an organization to communicate the challenges, direction, and practical next steps.

Away from the office, Mark enjoys time with his family, cycling, golfing, and watching Badger football and hockey. Curious and inquisitive about many areas of business, Mark is always reading a broad range of business books and periodicals.

Mark holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and an undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin—Whitewater.
